But, dang, girl.

Skylar Laine had me in tears! While I'm not one to post about American Idol, I'm also not the kind of girl that cries over musical performances. But, she killed it. I even tried voting, but it was past midnight and the lines were closed. Oh well, A for effort right?

I'm a wife to Paul, mom to Porter + Simon, a serial blogger + social networker. I love iced coffee, changing seasons, taking pictures, good music, great food, books before movies, and writing things down. During the day, I am an SEO specialist for an amazing Seattle-based creative marketing agency.

I must clarify a few things for you. This isn't a fashion blog: I wear yoga pants 5 days out of a possible 7, and my favorite makeup is from Target.

I'm no Supermom: I do laundry once a month, and pin recipes and decor that I probably won't ever attempt.

This isn't a crafty blog. One time I found a sock-bun tutorial on YouTube and spent about 13 hours trying to achieve those fantastic no-heat curls. All I walked away with was a ruined pair of socks and limp hair.
