I know I'm probably late to the game, but Emmy Rossum is amazing. I happened to catch her on Kathie Lee and Hoda (The Today Show) this morning, and she blew me away. I think I knew she "could sing", but I didn't realize she had a jazz/blues album out. I just thought she "could sing" like several other actresses have claimed in the past. (Yeah, I'm looking at you, LiLo.)

She's such an old soul. The album is beautiful; this was the best way to end my work week, ever. I'm sipping coffee, and listening to my new girl crush sing to me in French. Win, win.

I'm a wife to Paul, mom to Porter + Simon, a serial blogger + social networker. I must clarify a few things for you. This isn't a fashion blog: I wear yoga pants 5 days out of a possible 7, and my favorite makeup is from Target.

I'm no Supermom: I do laundry once a month, and pin recipes and decor that I probably won't ever attempt.

This isn't a crafty blog. One time I found a sock-bun tutorial on YouTube and spent about 13 hours trying to achieve those fantastic no-heat curls. All I walked away with was a ruined pair of socks and limp hair.
